Presales on Robinhood Chain

Wait for the cone to bend.

Potters put a small clay cone in the kiln. It bends over when the heat is right. On Saggar every presale gets one. It leans as ETH comes in and lies flat at the hard cap. Miss the soft cap and everyone takes their ETH back.

How a firing works

From cold kiln to claim, in four moves.

  1. 1

    Pick a firing

Rate, caps, vesting and pool lock are on the page. The crack check marks the lines that need a closer read.

  2. 2

    Put ETH in

Anything between the minimum and the maximum. The calculator shows your tokens and the date each slice is yours to sell.

  3. 3

    Watch the cone

It leans as the sale fills. At 45° the soft cap is in. Flat means sold out.

  4. 4

    Claim or withdraw

Claim tokens after listing. If the soft cap was missed, press Withdraw and you get back every wei you sent.

Reading the tags

  • Firing

    Open. ETH is going in.

  • Loading

Terms are posted. The sale opens later.

  • Cone down

Hit the hard cap before the close.

  • Cooled

Closed above the soft cap and went to a pool.

  • Misfired

Missed the soft cap. Buyers withdraw.

For teams

Fill in one form. Your firing goes up.

The crack check runs while you type, so you see your terms the way buyers will. Tokens you did not sell go back to your wallet when you finalise.

Questions

What is a presale?

You buy a token at a set rate before it trades anywhere. Your ETH sits in the sale contract until the close. Then the project lists and you claim, or it misses and you withdraw.

What is a saggar?

A clay pot that holds pieces inside a kiln and keeps flame and ash off them. Your ETH gets the same treatment here. It sits in the sale contract until the close, then goes to the pool or back to you.

Why a cone?

Kilns use pyrometric cones to show heat. They stand straight when cold and fold over once they reach their temperature. Ours bends with the raise: 45° at the soft cap, flat at the hard cap.

What does the heat bar show?

Twenty bricks, each worth a twentieth of the hard cap. They fire left to right as ETH comes in. The small black cone sits over the brick with the soft cap.

What is the crack check?

Six yes-or-no questions about the terms: pool size, pool lock, team share, how much one wallet can buy, KYC and audit. A failed line is a crack. No cracks means ordinary terms. It tells you nothing about whether the project is good.

Where does the pace line come from?

ETH so far divided by hours open, drawn forward to the close. Real sales speed up and stall, so read it as a rough guess.

Presale or fair launch?

A presale has a fixed rate and a hard cap. A fair launch shares a set pot of tokens across everyone by how much they put in, so you only know the price at the close.

When do I get my tokens?

After the team finalises. With vesting, part comes at listing and the rest in monthly slices after the cliff. Every firing page lists the dates.
